Personally, I think this is a VERY good painting Lorena. A standout....not one stroke too many or too few. Not easy to get that balance right I am sure. IT'S PERFECT ...but then I expect nothing less from a certain Virgo gal. Hope you are better than well. I'm gradually adjusting to retirement. Don't want to look at it as "stopping doing something" more like "reactivation" or "commencement" really. Perhaps doing some things I used to do (and stopped) or wanted to do but never made time for in the past. I've been reading two books on retirement. One is called How to Retire Happy, Wild and Free. To be honest, that one is not such a well written book but some of the concepts are sound. The other one is called Aging Faithfully which has a spiritual slant. I think being part of a spiritual community is something I have been missing for a while. I am participating in a 5-week long book study of that book at a local church. I'm thinking of volunteering my time for a Community meal that church puts on once a month. The meals are not just for unhoused people, they also invite elders in the community or really just anyone looking for connection. It might be nice and it's only a commitment of 1 day per month. Days are getting longer, soon the time will change. Spring must be just around the corner. Lotsa luv, B.
